The history of the zipper is over one hundred years old with its origins date back to the industrial revolution. In fact, there is no single inventor exists, rather many contributors who helped to develop the idea. Until 1923, a Swiss inventor, a jurist from San Gallo, buys the European patent for a handcrafted zipper and at the same time sets up machines for the first zipper production line. In 1983, Universal Win sets up the first zipper manufacturer in Dongguan of China, design and manufactures the quality zipper product. In order to express our appreciation for contribution of the zipper patent buyer from San Gallo, Universal Win creates a brand for quality zipper, Saga, to lead the zipper technology into the new era.
