Shandong Laiwu Coal Mining Machinery Factory (SLCMMF in short), which was built in 1966, is a state-owned medium-sized enterprise for designing and manufacturing coal mining machinery and environmental protection products. In 1999 SLCMMF set up Laiwu Qingshan Environmental Protection Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd. by joint investment with Shanghai Qingshan Science & technology Research Institute. SLCMMF owns 1600 employees, including 378 professional technicians, 30 senior engineers and one provincial engineering technology applied researcher.
