Silk Powder
It is a kind of powdery high molecular protein with a molecular of 100,000, which is no taste, no smell, and is micro-dissolved in water, but not in ethanol.
For making the silk cosmetics, the fineness of silk powder is generally between 1-100 ? if the grain size is too big, the smoothness of silk powder shall be poor, and give people the feeling of crude, but it would spoil the structure of natural silk material if the grain size were too fine. Since the surface gloss of silk is caused by the light interference effect on the silk surface, the fineness should be treated properly during the production process for silk powder, so as to keep the best standards of fineness, as well as the unique natural luster of it.

There are two specifications of silk powder for making cosmetics as follows:
General silk powder is the irregular mixture microscope viewing field, which the fineness≤90?
Micro-crystalline silk powder is the even crystal in needle state, which the fineness≤5?
Compared with the general silk powder, the grain size of micro crystalline silk powder is much fine, which is easy to mix with different cosmetics raw materials.


Silk Peptide Powder
Silk protein can hydrolyze into the intermediate, which has relatively small molecular weight and can pass semi-endosis. This intermediate is called silk peptide, and can be condensed and desiccated into powder of silk peptide.
The silk peptide in large molecular weight has a good membranate character, which gives the hair natural gloss and elasticity to let the hair easy dressing and making up. The silk peptide of low molecular weight is easy to be absorbed by skin, and to be permeated to the inner of hair to provide the necessary nurture for its normal metabolism, as well as to repair the injured hair.


The features of Silk amino acid in application
The film formation of Silk amino acid is lower than that of silk peptide, but its permeability is higher than that of Silk peptide. The single serine, which is rich in Silk amino acid, is the main amino acid in NMF, and is the of Ceramide. The construction of serine is similar to that of AHA, is the natural product of BHA and has no any stimulation. The single threonine, leucine, tryptophan, cystine in Silk amino acid have the function of skin-aging prevention, hair-growing and hair-protecting.
(1) Silk amino acid can easily permeate though the dermic layer of skin, be absorbed quickly, join the activity with enzyme in the body, and to reach the efficacy of skin-protection and skin-maintenance.
(2) Silk amino acid can nourish the mechanically and chemically damaged hair, permeating the inside of damaged hair scale, functions to repair and protect.
(3) Silk amino acid has rather good compatibility with anion, cation, amphoteric surfactants and multi-kinds of oily materials.
