CUIPPC, the first organization specializing in IP-related investigation in Mainland China, was established in August 1994 in Beijing. It is and has remained the sole member of the ICC Counterfeiting Intelligence Bureau in Mainland China since 1996. CUIPPC has established five branch offeces in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenyang and Xiamen respectively, to augment its Beijing headquarters. Altogether, CUIPPC's staff encompasses more than 100 investigators and administrators.
