On November 2, 1995, FanZhou Company and Japan Kyowa Matel Co Ltd, Japan Marubeni Auto Sales Co, China Resoures (Japan) Co, Marubeni (HongKong) Co, invested and established cooperatively WuHan Kyowa synchronizer Co., Ltd (abbreviated Wuhan Kyowa hereinafter) at WuHan Economic and Technology Development Zone. WuHan Kyowa owns RMB 20 million-registered capital and RMB 42 million total investment volumes and occupies a field of 13,200m2, with 5,000m2 building area among it. Company has introduced advanced synchronizer ring manufacturing methods and superior equipments from Japan. Thus it has capability of producing 1.5 million synchronize rings yearly. The rings which made and sold by WuHan Kyowa has more than 30 varieties, and they are mostly used by HongQi saloon car of FAW, Jetta car of FAW-Volkswagen Auto Co., Ltd, Charade car of TianJin, Daihatsu minicab, Alto car of ChongQing, Chang'an minicar, Cherokee jeep and Foreland light-van of Beijing.
