Guangzhou Storage Battery Enterprises Co., Ltd., a joint venture invested by Guangzhou Storage Battery Factory and Hongkong Denway Investment Limited, is launched in 1994. The Guangzhou Storage Battery Factory situated in Sanyuanli, Guangzhou city of China, founded in 1951, is a major factory which produces various kinds of lead-acid batteries of the Ministry of Machinery-Building and Electronics Industry, is the first one in the calling which won a silver medal for quality of state in 1983 and earned the award for the second class enterprises of state in 1988.?@
In 1995, the company invested more capital to build a completely new plant which enabled the factory to increase their battery production and established own material base. After development over 50 years, now the productivity is more than 1,500,000 KVAh and 20,000 tons of lead alloy per year.
