Fujian CASTECH Crystals, Inc. (CASTECH) that was founded by Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences (FIRSM, CAS) in 1988 is devoted to the manufacture and marketing of crystals and devices for advanced laser technique applica- tions. CASTECH's whole product lines include a wide range of function crystals used in these techniques, including NLO crystals, laser crystals, birefringent crystals, E-O and A-O crystals, and other optical crystals as well. Currently, it focuses on mass manufacture and marketing of utmost effective NLO and laser crystals, such as LBO, BBO, KTP, Nd:YVO4, and Nd:YAG for building of solid state lasers for green, blue UV even DUV laser outputs, especially their composites, the DPSS laser kits, for microlasers (microchip lasers).
