The Hebei wire & Cable Factory was built in 1979. It is both a national class B enterprise and a national class B measuring unit. It specially produced wirs and cables for the former Ministry of machine-Building Industry and the Ministry of Energy.At present it covers an area of 160,000 sq m,and possesses 210 million RMB yuan of fixed assets. Epuipped with more than 120(sets of) domestically advanced machines for producing wires and cables, it has a strong technical strength.
The Hebei wire & Cable Factory mainaly produces wiresand cables in more than 10 varieties and over 6,000 specifications, such as high-voltage cross-linked power cables, aerial insulated cables, five-core plastic insulated power cables, common rubber sheath flexible cables, mining cables, electric welder cables, controlling cables, PVC insulated cables(wires), communication cables, aluminium strands, and steel-cored aluminium stands. It produces 200,000km of cables and wires each year.
