Company History Coway Technologies, Inc. was start-up in September 1996 and began its business at multi-screen display cards for PC platform. Coway designed and manufactured the first PCI multi-screen display card in China this year. The product line included PCI multi-screen cards, multi-screen computer systems and stock quotation software systems for brokers.
Based on PCI multi-screen display and digital video processing technologies, Coway successfully designed a video wall controller in 1997, this is the first digital video wall controller which designed and manufactured in China. Because of its high performance, low cost and easy-to-use, the controller made a huge success in video wall market, and Coway became a leading provider of video wall controllers in 1998.
Coway set up a new product line in 1999, i.e. rear projection display units which specifically designed for video wall projects. Coway began to manufacture the rear projector units using Toshiba's CRT rear projector parts. Since then, Coway provides the turnkey projects of video wall, and had built many famous video walls in China, such as three 6x7 video walls in Shenzhen World Theme Park, Shenyang Liantong 6x6 Telecommunication Monitoring Wall, The Video Wall in Fujian's Walk-street, etc.
