Founded in October 1986 when the Chinese patent system had just set up, Beijing Sanyou Intellectual Property Agency Ltd. is the first private IP firm in China and one of the largest ones in China. It is one of the few agencies designated by the Chinese government to handle foreign patent and trademark matters. Beijing Sanyou represents clients both in China and abroad to handle all matters relating to patent, trademark and copyright, including patent applications, trademark registration, patent annuity management, trademark renewal and watching, computer software registration, integrated circuit topography registration, recordal of IP rights at customs for IP rights, lawsuits as well as other IP related matters.
It is one of the few agencies designated by the Chinese government to handle foreign patent and trademark matters.
